Meowllo is a tiny desktop cat from thecatbuddy.com. This page says what we keep, why, and how to ask us to stop.

What we collect

• Your name and email when you adopt, so we can send an adoption code.
• An optional cat name, if you pick one.
• The adoption code we email you.
• A hashed machine id and platform when you activate the app, so one code can live on up to 3 devices.
• Support notes you send us (name, email, topic, message).

We do not sell this. We do not run ads. We do not build a profile of your work.

What the cat does not see

Meowllo may ask for Input Monitoring or Accessibility so it can knead when you type. That stays on your computer. We do not receive what you type, which apps you use, or the contents of your screen.

Decline the permission and Meowllo still runs in Limited Mode.

Who helps us send mail

Adoption codes and support mail go through Resend, from support@thecatbuddy.com. They see the email address and the message so the letter can be delivered.

Cookies and this website

thecatbuddy.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site only needs what a browser needs to show the pages.

How long we keep it

We keep license and device records so your code keeps working. Support mail is kept long enough to reply. Ask us to delete your adoption and we will remove the license and related records we control.
